BID NOTICE 

The Pettis County Commission is requesting statements and performance data from Architects and Engineers to be placed on file in the office of the Pettis County Clerk, 415 S. Ohio, Suite 214, Sedalia, MO 65301. These requests will be available for review by the Commissioners whenever a project requiring architectural, engineering or land surveying services is proposed for one year from the date of this advertisement. Interested firms should submit to the County Clerk’s Office no later than Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 10:00AM. Please mark on outside of envelope “Architects & Engineers.”

The Pettis County Commission is accepting bids for one used day cab, long/line haul tractor for the Road & Bridge Department. Contact Bill Connor for specifications at 660-826-7187. Sealed bids will be received in the office of the County Clerk, 415 S. Ohio, Suite 214, Sedalia MO, 65301, until time of opening at 11:00 AM July 1, 2008 in the Commission Chambers. Please mark on outside of envelope “used truck.” The Pettis County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The Pettis County Commission has determined there is only a single feasible source for the supplies, equipment, and/or software necessary to upgrade the county’s 911 system to Phase II capabilities based on the proprietary nature of the items necessary. Any prospective vendor who feels they may be able to supply this proprietary software upgrade may contact the County Clerks’ Office, 415 S Ohio, Suite 214, Sedalia MO 65301 prior to 10:00 AM, July 22, 2008.
