PETTIS COUNTY MISSOURI

POW-MIA Ceremony

April 2, 2008

The Members of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 2591 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States were assembled to remember comrades who are being held as a prisoner of war or missing in action. We must not forget the sacrifices these comrades are still making and the suffering they are still enduring for us and our way of life. They must remain alive in our minds and hearts until we know they have returned home to their loved one or have been called to the bosom of Our Heavenly Father. We must continue to give moral support to their families who continue to suffer along with them.

The Ladies Auxiliary President present Rusty Kahrs with the POW/MIA Flag on behalf of the Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Post 2591 to fly with the American flag at the Pettis County Courthouse.
