235 RIGHT-OF-WAY
REQUIREMENTS/WIDTH
Right-of-ways
shall be free of obstructions, except for mail and newspaper boxes, for a
distance of not less than fifteen (15) feet from the edge of the roadbed to the
obstruction. Fences and utility poles existing prior to adoption of this
ordinance which are closer to the roadbed than fifteen feet-are"
grandfathered" in, but upon replacement or major repair shall be moved to
a new location not closer than fifteen feet Replacement shall be at the
landowner's expense. A variance to this section may be granted to the landowner
by the County Commission.
